Kyvin Goodin-Rogers
I was born in Louisville Kentucky and raised in Campbellsville Kentucky. At the age of 5, I began playing basketball. When I was 11 years old ,I decided to transfer from Campbellsville Independent Schools and attend Marion County Public Schools. In middle school, we had several undefeated seasons and middle school state titles. During my high school seasons, we won several district and region titles. We also made four appearances in the KHSAA state tournament. In 2013, my senior year of high school, I helped lead our basketball team to become KHSAA State Champions with a perfect season of 39-0 and ranked as the #4 team in the nation. After high school, I earned a full athletic scholarship to play Division I basketball at the University of Kentucky.
I played at the University of Kentucky where we made several appearances in the NCAA tournament. I attended UK from 2013-2015 before transferring to Western Kentucky University in 2016. At Western Kentucky, our team won the 2017 C-USA Conference tournament and made an appearance in the NCAA tournament.
After graduating from Western Kentucky University in 2017, I had a semester of eligibility to use, in which I chose to play at Union University in Jackson Tennessee.
While at Union University, we won the Gulf South Conference, South Region Championship, and went on to lose in the Final 4 of the NCAA DII National Tournament.
Through my journey, it showed me how much basketball is more than just a game. The love I have for the game moved me to share my story and use my journey to help others through the game of basketball. As a coach and nonprofit founder, my goal is to now help and reach youth through the game of basketball.

- First-Team All-State selection - Averaged 12.1 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.1 steals and 2.4 blocks per game as a senior.

- Finished career scoring over 2,500 points, over
1,600 rebounds and over 500 blocks
Ranking ninth all-time in rebounds and seventh in blocks Led the top ranked Lady Knights to a perfect 39-0 record making them the 2013 KHSAA State Champions.(First state title in Marion County Girls Basketball history) The Lady Knights became the first undefeated state champions since Marshall County in 1984.

Freshman Year: With only 3 freshman, UK women's basketball team had the top 10 freshman class in the nation. Major recruiting services ranked the 2013 freshman class of 3 as #5 by the All-Star Girls Report, #8 by Collegiate Girls Basketball Report and #10 by Blue Star Basketball. This marked UK women's basketball program the highest recruiting class since 2009. Missed my 2013-14 freshman season after being diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism on Oct. 28, 2013.
Sophomore Year:
Red Shirt Junior: In her one season at WKU in 2016-17, she started 25 of the 26 games played, averaging 8.1 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. Kyvin helped lead her team to become Regular Season Champs and a Conference USA Title.

5th Year Senior: After joining the team in the middle of the season, Kyvin was the heart and soul of the Lady Bulldogs of Union University. After joining the team in January, she quickly became an unquestioned leader. She was able to to help lead her team to a Gulf South Conference Regular Season Championship, South Region Championship, and make an appearance in the NCAA DII National Final Four (first time in school history to make it to the the NCAA National DII tournament)
